Why PR?

Why Do You Need a PR Agency?
There are many factors to take into account when considering whether to hire a PR agency. One way of deciding is to ask yourself the following questions:

*Can you afford a PR agency? if so how long?

*Do you have the time or staff to have an in-house PR strategy?

*Do you feel confident writing and distributing press releases?

*Are you or your company getting the positive press coverage that you deserve?

*Are you satisfied with occasional media exposure or is it central to your marketing strategy?

*Do you have quality media contacts?

*Are your competitors receiving more press coverage than you?

*Will a PR agency be an asset?

Good PR agencies write press releases, distribute them to targeted media outlets, make follow-up calls, and often have established good relationships with many journalists.

Therefore, with cost not being an issue, almost every actor, musician, model, and small to medium sized company would hire the services of a PR agency. However, PR agencies can be expensive so the question is whether that money could be better spent elsewhere.

If gaining media exposure is central to the success of your upcoming projects and/or company then you may be better off recruiting the services of a PR agency. New innovative companies often take this line. To be truly effective consistency is required – public relations should be an ongoing process, week after week.

PR campaigns must be conducted with consistency, and it won’t happen overnight…

Always assess what your competitors are doing. If they are receiving a significant amount of press coverage and you aren’t then why not? Once one company becomes established in the minds of journalists when writing about certain issues it often requires a PR agency to become involved to change this.

Extreme PR will work within your budget needs…

Happy Hats for Kids in Hospitals giving a shout-out!

To all who care about the health and wellness of hospitalized children with life threatening illnesses. To all who will understand our request for support for our brave and courageous children.

We are not asking for money, what I need is your votes. I’ve been nominated for this years’ Jewish Community Hero and I need a minimum of 25,000 votes to win $25,000 that will help our charity serve more than 11,000 hospitalized children with life threatening illnesses. In this letter I hope you will be inspired to vote for me and pass on the request to your twitter followers, encouraging them to cast their votes for me as well. There is no cost to vote. The deadline is November 8th. I want to WIN this campaign for our kids.

Since 1991 Happy Hats for Kids in Hospitals, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization’s mission is to ease the fears and anxieties of children with Cancer, AIDS, Diabetes, Autism and other life threatening illnesses. We do this with gifts of whimsical Hero Hats and Hero Club educational story/activity books. Our unique programs and their creative gifts are given free of charge to every child upon admittance into 38 hospitals 24/7. The hats bring immediate smiles to the precious faces of these suffering kids and the books explain basic hospital procedures in a gentle and humorous manner. The children learn that courage and bravery comes from within and every child is truly, a “Hero.”
We are proud of our volunteer partnerships with developmental disabled adults and autistic teens who prepare the hats & books daily, for shipping to hospitals. These meaningful tasks raise their self-esteem, improve motor skills and stimulate their minds. The felt Happy Hats are expertly sewn year around by inmates in State and Federal prisons throughout the USA. This work gives them a positive purpose by contributing back to society as they learn valuable transferable work skills.
Please visit our website http://www.happyhatsforkids.org to see the impact our vital programs make in the lives of seriously ill children and their families.
Please vote for me at the address below and you will be a BIG HERO to our little hospitalized Heroes. I want to WIN this opportunity to serve children who desperately need to smile.
